....A STEP BEYOND EXCELLENCE

Alcoholic beverages have never lost its essence in our society. From childbirth, through marriage ceremonies, parties and even the celebration of the final days of a man. its importance clearly manifests in our local Akan saying, "nea y3de nsa y3 no, y3de nsuo y3 a 3ny3 yie" meaning what alcohol can do, water cannot do. As funny as it sounds, that saying goes to explain the power behind alcohol at the benefits so to say it comes with. In Ghana, for that matter and Africa, the intake of alcohol proves your manhood or how strong a man is among his contemporaries. That's why the Akans even say, "y3 to tuo a, esi barima bo." Even these days women are equally competing with the men on the same front unlike it used to be some years back. As lame or stupid as it sounds, some men actually believe in that saying and compete amongst themselves when you get to a drinking bar or pub.

Many companies are coming out with different kinds of alcoholic drinks because of the interest that the Ghanaian shows in the intake of alcoholic beverages and one of such brands is Kasapreko. The Kasapreko Company Ltd(KCL) is one of the leading and successful alcohol and non-alcoholic beverages in Ghana. The company which was first set up in the garage of the owner and businessman, Dr. Kwabena Agyei in 1989 at Nungua has now grown into a multi national company with states-of-the-arts automated factory located off the Spintex road.
